Price action around the world is muted this morning as most major currency markets are closed for the Easter holidays.
Overview
Though the US did release employment data this morning, reactions to a slight upside reading on payrolls and a decrease in unemployment are moving markets a little. As an initial take, we feel that these numbers prove the Fed’s belief that the economy is resilient and strong enough to handle more hikes down the line and establishes no reason for cutting interest rates this year. Most reaction to this data will come Monday as global markets reopen and there is actual volume in Trading.
