The United States Dollar is trading mostly flat against its G10 peers today as many major markets remain closed for the Christmas holiday
Overview
With a dearth of economic data this week, most FX pairs have seen little to no movement over the holiday and the Buck is on track to close the week quite close to where it opened on Monday. Initial and continuing jobless claims were released this morning, close to expectations of 220K new claims and hovering around the same numbers we’ve seen most of this year. Japanese Yen is once again declining this morning in the absence of further jawboning from the Bank of Japan on the currency’s recent slide, bot the vast majority of major pairs are seeing little to no movement today.
